Countries Requiring a Visa to Enter Taiwan
The following countries require a visa for travel to Taiwan:
- India: Visa required for all stays.
- Indonesia: Visa required for all stays.
- Vietnam: Visa required for all stays.
- Philippines: Visa required for stays exceeding 14 days.
- Thailand: Visa required for stays exceeding 14 days.
- Nepal: Visa required for all stays.
For other countries, please verify visa requirements with your local Taiwan Embassy or TECO or refer to Taiwan’s Bureau of Consular Affairs website: BOCA Website.
Visa Application Locations
1. Taiwan Embassy or Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO):
Submit applications at the nearest Taiwan Embassy or TECO.

2. Online Application for Certain Countries (eVisa):
Some nationals are eligible for an eVisa. Check eligibility and apply online at Taiwan eVisa System.
Required Documents
To apply for a Taiwan visa, you will need the following:
1. Completed Visa Application Form:
Download the form from the TECO website or complete it online if using the eVisa system.
2. Passport:
Must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Taiwan.
3. Photograph:
One recent passport-sized photo (2 x 2 inches) with a white background.
4. Travel Itinerary:
Include flight details (entry and exit dates) and accommodation details in Taiwan.
5. Proof of Purpose of Visit:
An invitation letter from ASPAC or proof of registration for the event.
6. Financial Documents:
Bank statements or proof of sufficient funds for the trip (if required).
7. Kiwanis International (KI) ID Number:
Ensure all members include their KI ID numbers.
8. Visa Fee:
Check the applicable visa fee with your nearest TECO or online application portal.
