Kiwanis Taiwan and Malaysia Districts Strengthen Bonds Through Collaborative Visit

In a display of international goodwill and shared commitment to community service, Kiwanis Taiwan District Governor Chi-Kang Jone led a delegation to Kiwanis Malaysia District, where they were warmly received by Governor Olivia Chin and her team. The visit commenced with a warm welcome dinner hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Klang at the Empire Cuisine Restaurant, setting the tone for an enriching exchange.

The delegation took part in several key initiatives, including the Kiwanis Club of Klang's annual Christmas celebration at newly renovated local children’s home and the Children’s Ward of Tengku Ampuan Rahimah General Hospital, where Governor Jone and his team joined Santa and Klang members to bring cheer to children with games, gifts, and festivities.

Further cementing this partnership, a formal meeting was held, attended by representatives from the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office, Kiwanis International President Lee Kuan Yong, ASPAC Vice Chair Michael Chiew and Past District Governors of Malaysia District reflecting the collective commitment to Kiwanis mission.

This visit, marked by meaningful dialogue and shared experiences, demonstrated the enduring spirit of collaboration that defines the Kiwanis family.
