49th Philippine Luzon District Convention: Celebrating Service and Leadership

The 49th Kiwanis Philippine Luzon District Convention in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, was a gathering of almost a thousand Kiwanis leaders united by a shared purpose—making a difference in the lives of children. The convention was officially graced by Kiwanis International President-Elect Michael Mulhaul and Kiwanis Asia-Pacific Chair Sujan Shrestha.

In his inspiring speech, ASPAC Chair Sujan Shrestha’s words resonated deeply with all of us: "The simplest way to preserve humanity is by serving our children and sharing with them the richness of our heritage."

The Kiwanis Pillars Fellowship Award was presented by Chair Sujan to 42 long-standing clubs in the Philippine Luzon District, each with 20 to 60 years of service. This recognition honors their steadfast commitment to the Kiwanis mission, as they have become pillars of strength, embodying leadership and compassion while setting a high standard for service that inspires future Kiwanis leaders.

Congratulations to Philippine Luzon District Governor Glenda Hufano, her tireless efforts have inspired a deeper commitment to service. The district also celebrated the election of new district leaders, with Governor Designate Felix Grepo and Governor-Elect Dr. Stachys Neil Espino stepping up to lead the charge for the future, gearing towards to the Golden Jubilee of Philippine Luzon.
