On June 8th, Kiwanis leaders of Kiwanis Districts of Southern Philippines, Taiwan, Philippine Luzon ,and Nepal gathered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam led by ASPAC Chair Designate Huang Wu Tien, to celebrate the charter presentation of the first Kiwanis club in the country – the Kiwanis Club of Saigon.
The sponsoring clubs and divisions played a crucial role in the formation of Kiwanis Club of Saigon: Kiwanis Clubs of Leyte Digital Innovators, Regal Davao, Magandang Gensan, Gensan Believers, United Davao, and Davao City, as well as Divisions 7 and 8 of the Southern Philippine District headed by District Governor Gigi Chan Chu. Their collective efforts highlight the spirit of collaboration and community that Kiwanis embodies, ensuring that the new club has a strong foundation to start its journey of service in Vietnam.
