Christmas project for Indigenous kids of Palawan

Receiving a simple pair of slippers may seem like a modest gift, but for the indigenous children in Bgy. Malihud, Sitio Kapangyan, Bataraza, Palawan, Philippines, it represents an expression of care and consideration, a thoughtful gesture that acknowledges the significance of everyday items in the lives of these children.

The Kiwanis Club of Bataraza Palawan in Philippine Luzon District organized a heartwarming community outreach program, with a special focus on bringing early Christmas cheer to the residents. The "Pamaskong Handog" (Christmas Gift) project featured engaging fun games, an oral hygiene awareness session conducted by RHU doctors, and a feeding program, addressing both physical and community well-being. Notably, the distribution of essentials, including rice packs, slippers, ice cream, and hygiene kits, aimed at enhancing the quality of life in the area.
