Danielle Desarmagnac

District Governor 2023-2024
New Zealand and South Pacific (NZSP) District

Born in Noumea, New Caledonia in March 1962, Danielle Desarmagnac is the eldest of four siblings. Her formative years were spent in Noumea, and she embarked on her professional journey in the field of social insurance following her graduation. Remarkably, her commitment to volunteer work commenced at the tender age of 14, with a focus on supporting associations dedicated to aiding individuals with disabilities.

Danielle’s introduction to the world of Kiwanis unfolded as she accompanied her husband, Bernard Desarmagnac, to meetings and conventions held within the New Zealand South Pacific district and Division 6 in New Caledonia. Her official membership in Kiwanis was established in 2002, initially affiliating with both the Kiwanis Club Hibbertia and the Kiwanis Club Sud-Ouest.

Over the years, she has occupied various pivotal leadership positions within Kiwanis NZSP, encompassing roles such as Club President, Club and Division Secretary, Lieutenant Governor, Editor for newsletters spanning club, division, and district levels, District Public Relations (PR) coordinator, and Kiwanis Brand Ambassador. Her dedication to Kiwanis is evident through her active participation in numerous conventions, including those at the District level (17), ASPAC level (10), and the International level -8 . In addition to her local involvements, she proudly maintains membership in the Kiwanis Centennial Internet club within the Pennsylvania district.

Having entered retirement, in her capacity as District Governor, Ms. Desarmagnac aspires to make a significant contribution to the advancement and prosperity of the New Zealand South Pacific District for the administrative year 2023-2024.
