David McNabb, a native of New Zealand, first became involved with Kiwanis in 1984 through his future father-in-law, a long-serving Secretary of the Adelaide Kiwanis Club in South Australia. Due to work commitments, David initially supported Kiwanis events but officially joined in the mid-1990s when his schedule allowed more flexibility. His dedication grew quickly, leading him to serve in various club roles, including President in 2012. The following year, he was appointed Lt. Governor of Australia District Division 3, a role he held for several terms. Throughout his Kiwanis journey, David has been honored with the Legion of Honour and George F. Hixson Fellowship.
David’s commitment to Kiwanis extends beyond local club activities. He served for eight years as editor of Australia’s quarterly Kiwanis magazine and was elected Governor-Elect at the 2023 District Convention. Since then, he has embraced his new leadership role with enthusiasm, eagerly anticipating a productive and impactful year ahead for Kiwanis in Australia.
