Manisha Bimali, a passionate advocate for social service and community development inspired her to join Kiwanis Nepal District. For the past eight years as a member, she has been actively contributing to the organization’s presence in Nepal by chartering clubs and fostering membership growth.
Her leadership journey began in 2017 as the Charter President of the Kiwanis Club of Kantipur Kathmandu Nepal. Since then, she has taken on key roles, including Division Chair (2018-2019), Lieutenant Governor of Division 3 (South) (2019-2020), and Past Lieutenant Governor Association Chair (2020-2021). She has also served as Co-Chief Advisor of Kiwanis Nepal (2022-2023) and Chief Advisor of Kiwanis Children Fund Nepal (2023-2024), demonstrating her commitment to advancing the Kiwanis mission.
Beyond Kiwanis, Manisha has a strong background in social work, having volunteered with the Youth Society of Nepal since 2002 and held leadership positions in human rights and social justice organizations. She is currently the President of the Society for Development and Rights.
A lifelong learner, she holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Tribhuvan University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in political science. She is married to Netra Mani Pokharel, also a dedicated Kiwanian and former Treasurer of Kiwanis Nepal.
