With a remarkable Kiwanis service journey spanning approximately 26 years, Michael Chiew’s journey began as an ardent volunteer in 1997, officially joining the Kiwanis Club of Kuala Lumpur in 1999. Over the years, he has taken on a range of significant leadership positions within Kiwanis Malaysia District and ASPAC, serving as a testament to his dedication to the organization’s growth and mission. He has actively engaged with both local and international Kiwanis conventions, gaining valuable insights into the global reach and potential for positive change that Kiwanis embodies. His service extends not only to the Malaysia District but also to the broader ASPAC region.

Michael Chiew’s dedication to Kiwanis has been recognized through a series of prestigious awards, including: Distinguished Club Secretary, Distinguished Club President, Distinguished Lieutenant Governor, George F. Hixson Fellow, George F. Hixson Diamond L2, Walter Zeller Fellow, Walter Zeller Diamond, Walter Zeller President Award and Walter Zeller Centennial Award.
