Shinichi Yoshikuni of Tokyo was elected as the 2022-2023 Governor of the Japan District at the alternative meeting held on August 29, 2022, followed by the cancellation of the district convention.

Shinichi joined Kiwanis Club of Tokyo in 2008. He served as the Club President as well as the Lt. Governor of Division 1 in 2015-2016.

He is a Dr. Wil Blechman Fellow and a George F. Hixson Fellow at the diamond level.

Outside Kiwanis, he is an advisor to West Holdings Co., Ltd. He is married to Yuri, and together has two sons, a grandson and a granddaughter.
