The recent visit of ASPAC Chair Belle Garcia, KI Trustee Dan Liekvold, Governor Andy Hsiao with Taiwan District Delegation and Philippine Luzon leadership to various Kiwanis initiatives during the 48th Philippine Luzon District Convention in Legazpi, Bicol, was marked by camaraderie and the spirit of giving. One of the standout moments of the trip was the visit to the Kiwanis Club of Daragang Magayon's 2023 Gold Awardee Best Signature Project, DNHS Reading Hub in Daraga National High School where students welcomed the guests with an atmosphere of festivity and celebration. The vibrant energy of the students
resonated with the mission of Kiwanis to empower young minds and foster a sense of community. It was a heartening experience to witness the dedication of the young awardees and the meaningful impact of their winning project, which aligns perfectly with Kiwanis' commitment to nurturing the future.
These District Convention pre-ceremony activities were arranged by Philippine Luzon Division 5B Lieutenant Governor Beth Dimaculangan, including visits to various Kiwanis initiatives and meeting Key Clubs, where the Kiwanis Leaders witnessed firsthand the impact of the organization's projects.
