The KIWANIS PILLARS FELLOWSHIP was officially launched during the 49th Southern Philippine District Convention held at the Ormoc City Superdome. This momentous occasion was graced by ASPAC Chair Sujan Shrestha and Kiwanis International President Designate Michael Mulhaul, along with esteemed Kiwanis leaders including ASPAC Chair Designate Huang Wu-Tien and Past ASPAC Chairs Ike Altavas, Belle Garcia, Kenneth Alovera, and Clinton Green. This gathering marked one of the largest convenings of ASPAC Chairs outside the ASPAC Convention, emphasizing the significance of community and collaboration within the Kiwanis family.
The Kiwanis Pillars Fellowship Awards are essential in motivating active participation among members of long-standing clubs, such as the Kiwanis Club of Davao City, chartered in 1967. By celebrating the contributions of enduring clubs, these awards enhance member satisfaction, encourage ongoing involvement, and strengthen Kiwanis Asia-Pacific's identity as a prestigious service organization. This initiative acknowledges clubs active for 20 years and beyond, reinforcing the pillars of strength and service that form the backbone of the Kiwanis community across the Asia-Pacific region.
We thank District Governor Gigi Chan Chu for graciously accommodating the Kiwanis Asia-Pacific award ceremony for the Pillar clubs of the Southern Philippine District.
