The 49th Kiwanis Asia-Pacific Convention, held in Adelaide, Australia from March 7-9, 2024, embraced the theme "Together We Serve, Together We Thrive" as hundreds of delegates gathered to celebrate unity and collaboration. Esteemed Kiwanis International dignitaries, including President Katrina Baranko and President-Elect Lee Kuan Yong, graced the event alongside Executive Director Paul Palazzolo and KI Europe President Josy Glatigny.
The convention showcased the region's dedication to service and growth through engaging training sessions on topics such as AI-Driven Strategies for Kiwanis Branding, Service Leadership Program (SLP), Membership Growth, KCF, and Green Generation. The House of Delegates elected new officers and concluded with Taiwan District officially announced as the host for the ASPAC 2025 Convention Golden Jubilee, marking a milestone for Kiwanis in the region.
Each evening was highlighted by Object No. 5, fostering fellowship and camaraderie during the Executive Board Dinner, Outback themed welcome dinner, the awarding ceremony, and all small parties in between.
Districts showcased their heritage in their cultural presentations joined by their Governors, and winners of Green Generation Contests, Best Service Award, Best District Both, Good Governance, Best PR & Branding Award, Platinum Club Award, and Diamond Club Award were acknowledged on stage, adding to the convention's success.
It was a time of celebration as districts were recognized for their outstanding achievements, reinforcing the spirit of excellence and camaraderie within the Kiwanis family.
