ASPAC 2024 AWARDS: BEST NATION BOOTH DISPLAY

Hafa Adai! GUAM KIWANIS endeavored to create an immersive experience for visitors, providing them with an opportunity to fully engage with the essence of Guam. The booth was designed to offer a window into the island's natural beauty, featuring selected images showcasing the achievements of Guam Kiwanis clubs amidst a backdrop of vibrant flora and tropical landscapes.

Adorned in attire as vibrant as the island itself, the Guam Kiwanians attending the booth became custodians of this experience, embodying the essence of Guam's tropical allure. Through this thoughtful presentation, they aimed to captivate visitors and leave a lasting impression of Guam's unique charm and Kiwanis' impactful contributions to the community.

The phrase "Hafa Adai" is a common expression in the Mariana Islands. Though often translated as "hello," its actual meaning is closer to "What's up?" or "What's going on?" in English. Native Chamorro speakers use it casually as a greeting among acquaintances. However, due to its widespread use in the tourism industry, it has become a general greeting used by everyone in the islands.
