Capsule Arts: Kiwanis Japan Unites for Child Creativity

Enthusiastically initiated by the Kiwanis Club of Kagoshima and Kiwanis Club of Gumma in the Kiwanis Japan District, the collaborative project "Capsule Arts" by Kaichudento Corp. , sparked creativity and joy among children from ages three to high schoolers. Using recycled capsules from toy vending machines, the clubs organized capsule art workshops where children unleashed their artistic talents.

The workshops, held at a child welfare center in Ota City, Gunma, and in Kagoshima, not only encouraged artistic expression but also promoted awareness of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Despite the distance between the clubs, their shared commitment to empowering children through art transcended geographical boundaries, highlighting the power of collaboration and community spirit within Kiwanis in Japan.
