Meanwhile, in the southern hemisphere, Patricia Manuel, President of the Kiwanis Club of Tiare Paita and a native of Pondicherry, conceived a delightful and innovative notion. She envisioned celebrating the advent of southern spring in September alongside the children of Paita, New Caledonia, within the Kiwanis New Zealand and South Pacific District.
