This year, Kiwanis Club of Golden Salakot Aklan in the Kiwanis Southern Philippine District joyously celebrates the holiday season by extending festive cheer to children and their parents in Polo, New Washington, Aklan through their "MAAGANG PAMASKO SA BARYO" (Early Christmas in the Village) gift-giving activity on its sixth year.
During this event, children were graciously presented with an all time favorite - hearty Jollibee spaghetti meal, ice cream. gifts, toys, and more . Families, in turn, received a Noche Buena grocery package thoughtfully placed in eco-friendly bags, locally known as "bayong." This eco-conscious approach aligns seamlessly with Kiwanis Asia-Pacific's environmental stewardship campaign, contributing to the ongoing effort to address the issue of plastic waste.
