Taiwan District celebrated 50th Golden Anniversary

The Kiwanis Taiwan District recently celebrated a momentous milestone with the grand commemoration of its 50th Golden Anniversary. The main ceremony, held with great pomp and honor, was graced by the distinguished presence of the Taiwan President Tsai lng-wen as the Guest of Honor, alongside esteemed Kiwanis International dignitaries.

This jubilant occasion, a week-long celebration from April 6th, spanned from Taichung City to Kaohsiung City, was filled with a myriad of Kiwanis activities; club chartering ceremonies, district and division meetings, dinner fellowships, and impactful community engagements such as blood donations. The event was further elevated by the attendance of international guests from various districts across Asia-Pacific, including Kiwanis International dignitaries led by KI President Katrina Baranko and Kiwanis Asia-Pacific leaders led by ASPAC Chair Sujan Shrestha.

Amidst the festivities, the 50th Anniversary not only celebrated a rich history of service but also emphasized the pivotal role of Kiwanis in fostering meaningful connections and making a positive impact across borders. This collaborative effort of Taiwan Kiwanis leaders, under the leadership of Governor Tsung-Hsun Lin and ASPAC Chair-Elect Huang Wu-Tien, exemplified a shared dedication to serving children and communities with passion and purpose, reflecting the global impact and significance of Kiwanis International.
